Abstract—For LED Bi-function lens with fixed shield, there is a dark line between the high light and the low light because of the shield thickness. By studying the principle of lens imaging and analyzed the causes and influencing factors of dark lines trough software simulation and physical detection,give three solutions.1,reduce the shield thickness;2,cancel individual shield and instead with the high light side wall;3, poperly reduce the thickness of the shield and correct by changing horizontal position of the lens focal point. Through simulation and measurement,it is confirmed that these three methods can effectively reduce dark lines and improve driving safety.
