Abstract—With the increasingly fierce competition in the automobile market, the car changes to be more and more intelligent and fashionable. As the eyes of the vehicle, lighting technology had a fast development. The application of adaptive high beam (ADB) becomes more popular in headlamps, and the higher-end vehicle equipped with ADB pursues higher pixel resolution and accuracy. Limited by the styling of lamps and the narrow opening of lighting modules, 100 pixels ADB module has a big size when making by traditional LED light source, then it is difficult to meet the lighting needs of small-sized styling trend and higher pixels resolution. As this reason, small size of LED is required by the market, so matrix-LED, mini-LED and DMD comes, widely used to achieve an extremely small size of LED lighting module. Among them, mini-LED and DMD productions have immature technical conditions and stubbornly high cost, the road to popularization for them is difficult. Now we change the attention to LED matrix light source technique for the hundred-pixels ADB to find a economic way. The content of this paper focuses on the technical field of auto lamps, and describing a hundred-pixel ADB solution, while ensuring the narrow styling of automobile lamps, it can achieve higher pixel lighting effects, to meet the request of high-pixel automotive adaptive lighting at this stage, and provide a market-competitive lighting development direction.
