Technical analysis of vehicle lens based on rearview mirror

Abstract—This article first makes a brief introduction to the development of the car-borne lens, emphatically will do the technical analysis to the rear-view mirror lens. In particular, the optical structure of the rear-view mirror lens, the visual effect analysis based on human vision, the visual analysis of the effective field of view, and the effect of fog on the lens imaging sharpness are also compared. By analyzing the influence of sunshine at different time points on image brightness, the curve of brightness change and time can be obtained. The images taken by the lens are often distorted, and the distortion can be corrected by subsequent image processing algorithms. These systematic analyses can provide us with a comprehensive understanding of the performance of the rear-view Mirror Lens, as well as provide reference for other on-board lens.
