Its advantage lies in the fact that problem of glare caused by high beams can be solved effectively, to improve the safety of driving. However, most of the existing design methods of ADB result in complex structure and produce high cost, which restricts their widespread application. Based on matrix mode, this paper investigates the design method of Fresnel lens type for ADB, where the light transmit by several surfaces to obtain the result of optical partitions, and meanwhile, avoid the mutual interference between different LEDs. The design guarantees simple structure and low cost. The simulation results generated by Lucidshape are given to demonstrate the effectiveness and attractiveness of the proposed design method, which not only satisfies the demand of fundamental high beams, but also achieves the function of ADB perfectly.
