Abstract— Different from the classical achromatic lens and apochromatic lens, the current micro lens array (MLA) used for automotive projection usually does not need special achromatic method, yet it can still make images with no visible color edges. This paper describes the color analysis on the edge of MLA project pattern, the systematic diagnosis of color problems, and the extended application of this color processing method. This paper is valuable for many kinds of lens image projection technology which produces images with clear distinction between black and white.
