Trends in Interior lighting

Abstract—Interiorlighting is becoming more and more complicated and important for design andapplication of vehicle. Base on the marketing research and study of OEM’sdesign trends, introduce the trends in interior lighting in future.

Touch andGesture Control technology offer a simple to use and intelligent concept forinterior lighting control. Functional light will be integrated into the “LightExperience”.

New material and technology like OLED and Black Panel etc. canoffer more complicated styling design and light performance for interiorlighting.  

Base on RGB LED with integrated microcontroller, ambientlighting might be used as warning or indicator function which is linked to Speedometer,Sound, HVAC, Car catching Up, etc.  

Innovativeapplication enriches the languageof design for OEM.
