RESEARCH ON AUTOMOBILE GRADE CHIP REPLACEMENT METHODOLOGY AND ITS VALIDATION MODELS Li xiangbing Dongfeng Peugeot and Citroen Automobile Co.Ltd, Wuhan, China, 430058 Abstract: Automobile grade chip is not only the important assurance to realize the 4 trends of car development, but also the prerequisite for the successful off-line of the car in OEM. After the comprehensive analysis of the hardships of domestic chip development, the chip localization is the very necessary. Among all the ways on localization, chip replacement is regarded as the simplest and most efficient way to reach this target. By discussing the conception methodology of chip, the paper proposes two ways for localization of direct replacement and indirect replacement, and the validation model for these efforts. By implementation on one project, it shows the reliability of these methodology. The efforts above will be of great significance for the emerging trends of chip replacement or even chip localization.
