10th International Forum of Automotive Lighting, China (2022 IFAL)

From October 12 to 14, 2022, the “10th International Forum of Automotive Lighting, China (2022 IFAL)” was successfully held in Shanghai, jointly sponsored by the Institute for Electric Light Sources, Fudan University, Intelligent Transportation Lighting Commission of CIES, Shanghai Motor Vehicle Inspection Certification & Tech Innovation Center Co., Ltd., Fudan Lingang Industrialization Innovation Platform, and the Driver Vehicle Interface Safety Alliance.

Jin Li, academician of the CAS Member and president of Fudan University, addressed the opening ceremony of the forum.

Jiang Fengyi, academician of the CAS Member and Semiconductor Luminescence Scientist, prefaced the proceedings of the conference.

This IFAL was themed with "Intelligent Human-vehicle-interactive lighting and sensing". There were 7 special topics and 37 excellent reports. It covered digital and projection technology, optical design and simulation, key technologies of lamp design, human factors engineering and human-computer interaction, intelligent lamps, quality control of automobile lighting, safety, regulations and innovation.
