It is well known that on Chinese roads a lot of people drive constantly in high beam. Of course their visibility distance is increased in all conditions but at the same time they dazzle all other drivers creating a lot of disturbances for other drivers and thus strong risks of accidents.

Generalization of Glare Free High Beam would be then a good solution to avoid such risks and their impacts on number of casualties. Often considered as expensive solution, Glare Free High Beam technology started to be deployed through high range vehicles. Actually several solutions have been developed in order to address all segments of vehicles, with serial applications today starting in segment C, and soon to segment B.

The target of this paper is to present several types of solutions, with their advantages and drawbacks. They are solutions with moving modules and other ones with fixed modules, different styling approach (with lens or reflectors). Matrix beam systems are also part of the comparison, including different resolutions to reduce drastically the cost of the solution.

As conclusion, most addressable applications on the market will be proposed for each solution.
